800 pixels wide? That will break my website’s layout.

I just stopped at Amazon and purchased _all of Transmetropolitan_. This fills me with deep joy, but there’s this thing that I just can’t stand – compilations are always so expensive. Sin City ran me a solid $120, with Transmetropolitan at the same price point.
Do you know how much the entire series of Bone cost? $35. Of course, it’s all black-and-white, so it’s hard to directly compare, but … still… large comic compliations are expensive, dammit. Finishing my Sandman collection is probably going to run a solid $200, and let’s not even go into collecting print works of great webcomics before they go out of print or drop off the internet for large chunks of time.
I’ve finally put up a site for my comics. It’s at ikoverse.com, and it’s snazzy, new, and awesome.
It’s not just a site for my comics- it’s the early stages of a publishing platform for many comics- although the whole thing needs a lot of work before it reaches that stage.
It’s built in Django, with jQuery, and has a couple of features that I’m at least a little bit proud of. More details here.
And, in order to commemorate the launch of the site? There’s a brand new comic up and ready.
See, ’cause a D&D game is coming up, and I love to draw the characters…

In the ins-and-outs of day-to-day doodling, I drew a character that I liked enough to actually color in.

I’m really happy with how this turned out.
